Pastor Tom Stowe was born and raised in California. After a tumultuous time at the beginning of high school led by rebellion and sin, he finally came to believe in Jesus as his Lord and savior at the age of 17. Following high school, Tom went off to college at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo (Cal Poly) where he served with different Christian organizations like Intervarsity and CRU (Campus Crusade for Christ). He also earned a degree in Speech Communication, while minoring in History.
Following graduation, he attended Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, California. He then did a study abroad program continuing Bible College in York, England. He finished school at another extension campus in Seattle, Washington, where he graduated with a degree in Biblical Studies.
Tom participated in a pastoral internship program at Calvary Fellowship, in Seattle, Washington, and later did another pastoral internship at Calvary SLO Church in San Luis Obispo, California.
Following his internships, Tom was sent out as a missionary to Brazil, where he served for 15 years in various cities and met his wife, Luciana. He taught at several Bible Colleges, worked for different churches, and was later the head pastor of 2 churches over a span of almost 13 years.
After returning from Brazil with his family, Tom founded and taught at the Calvary Chapel School of Discipleship in San Clemente, California, before moving to Chickasha, Oklahoma to be the head pastor a church once again.
